Terms of Service — Dribble & Yarn

Last updated: 21 August 2026

These are the terms you agree to by using Dribble & Yarn. Plain language on purpose.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Dribble & Yarn ("the service"), you agree to these terms and to our Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

The service is operated by George Gavin Lawson, trading as Dribble & Yarn, New South Wales, Australia.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission.

You need to give accurate information when signing up, keep your password secure, and you're responsible for what happens under your account.

One person, one account. Don't run networks of accounts, and don't impersonate anyone.

3. Your content stays yours

You own what you post. We don't claim ownership of your posts, photos or videos.

By posting, you give us a licence to host and display your content so the service can function — to store it, show it to other users, and include it in feeds, the globe and search. This licence is:

You keep the right to be credited, and to take your work elsewhere at any time.

4. What you must not do

You agree not to:

5. Moderation and enforcement

We review reports and act on content that breaches these terms or the guidelines.

Depending on severity, we may: remove content, limit an account, suspend it, or remove it permanently. Serious cases — particularly those involving child safety or credible threats — are removed immediately and reported to the relevant authorities.

We aim to be fair. If you think we've got something wrong, email support@dribbleandyarn.com and we'll look again. We'd rather fix a mistake than defend one.

We are not obliged to host anything. We may remove content or accounts at our discretion where we believe these terms have been breached.

6. Your own moderation tools

You can block any user, which hides their posts and messages from you, and exclude any topic, which hides it everywhere in the app. These are your decisions and we don't override them.

7. Service availability

The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be preserved.

This is an early-stage product. Features will change. We may modify or discontinue parts of the service, and we'll give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.

Keep your own copies of anything you'd be upset to lose.

8. Ending your account

You can leave any time. Email support@dribbleandyarn.com to delete your account, or delete your posts individually.

We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or where we're legally required to.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including lost data, lost profits, or content posted by other users.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it's limited to resupplying the service.

We are not responsible for content posted by users. Views expressed on the platform are those of the people who posted them.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
